Dropleaf Breakast/Pembroke Table

This large and early dropleaf breakfast or pembroke table is the best piece of tiger maple furniture we have found. Made around 1830-40, the top, pedestal and legs are all very highly figured solid tiger maple. The legs end in boldy-carved lion's paws. There is one functioning drawer. Secondary wood is tulip poplar. We believe this to be a New York or Pennsyvlania piece.
